Chicago Born & Bred; Nerd of All Trades

Benjamin Jouras (Βενιαμίν τζουράς) is a Chicago born-&-bred actor who recently graduated from Northwestern University. Since then, he’s had the pleasure of serving in countless immersive experiences with Myer2Myer Entertainment, American Immersion Theatre, and The Yellow Rose Theatre. He’s also been able to join ensembles crafting devised work in Chicago’s storefront scene with companies like Nonsense Productions (Bloodshot), Strong Branch (The Dreamless Patron; Rhinofest), and The Artery (A Girl’s Guide to Friends & Demons, Heart 2 Heart). In addition, he’ been a part of a number of voiceover productions, including the audio-drama Dean’s Killing Joke and working with Chicago Public Schools to make an auditorily accessible version of their academic decathlon materials. Ben has become an acclaimed performer with the Bristol Renaissance Faire and has an extensive background in improv and commedia dell’arte. He is driven by collaborative projects that center the audience as people and seeks to provide them with powerful personal experiences.
